hmm, I have tried all I could but cant solve this problem..

may be some more help nedded.

thank you

that is what I get:-

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

  • No problems with any version of Firefox, which are currently available ie are latest versions.
  • Tried on x86 and x64 versions, 40.0.2 and 41.0.b1 both versions.
  • Takes a moment and everything is opened. This moment is about 1 second or less.

Maybe you are using some VPN or proxy that prevents opening.

I dont use any VPN or proxy,

Try out the good advice from davmil first, if by chance it does not work, navigate to Options >> Advanced >> Network >> Settings >> Ensure that No Proxy, is selected.

Works in W10 with FF Release 40.0.2 and FF Dev 42.0a2.

If I had to guess it might be an add-on messing with loading. As an example, I know some add-ons like HTTPS Everywhere try to redirect you to a secure site and can cause issues. What add-ons do you have? You can find out via the menu or by going to about:support.
