Cacheman 10.0

Cacheman is a Windows software designed to speed up your computer by optimizing several caches, managing RAM and fine tuning a number of system settings. Auto-Optimization makes it suitable for novice and intermediate users yet it is also powerful and versatile enough for computer experts. Backups of settings ensure that all user modifications can be reversed with a single click. Unlike other tuneup utilities, Cacheman runs as a system service, minimizing resource usage and tweaking Windows at system-level. Cacheman runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 x86|x64.

I wonder if this is like PcWinTech's Clean Mem app. Didn't see much in the scene about that and it's a really nice app... this might be small but good change if it's the same. Some companies do have a habit of selling their core app which then pops up under different product names and companies.

What is the change log ?

I emailed them as I purchased a licence around 2013 (December) and they gave me a free upgrade!

Is this program worthwhile or just a placebo?

Used to be great when it first came out for XP and was freeware.

Has improved my system a bit, but, you need to do a run every couple of days to benefit.

There are issues currently with this software, to which I contacted support two (2) days ago and have yet to receive a reply.

It crashes 'searchindexer' (without quotes).
