humble3d
Note On Dog’s Body “We Beat It To Death LOL” EVIL AMERICANS ? EVIL ALIENS ? EVIL PEOPLE! PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) — An investigation is underway after a dog was found dead in Pembroke Pines with a note attached to its body which said “We beat it to death! lol! (evil smiley face). HAHAHA!” The 13-year old Pomeranian named Foxx had been in Verline Bartheleny’s family for 13 years, and lived with her and her life mate, Ronald Boisvert, for the last eight years. The dog and disturbing note were found behind the family’s condo building at 7980 N. French Drive Saturday morning. It was taken to Saint Francis Animal Hospital where a veterinarian’s exam found it had multiple fractures. Dr. Ron Ridge says Fox had 10 broken ribs, missing teeth and a broken back. The vet says Fox was likely kicked to death. Pembroke Pines police said at this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no evidence to believe that other animals in the area are in danger. Bartheleny wonders what someone who would do such a thing is made of. “Someone who is disturbed, who could take it to the next level,” she said. “I’m afraid to even go outside now.” Pembroke Pines Police said they are taking the case very seriously, particularly considering the disturbing, taunting nature of the note left on the dead dog’s body. “The fact that they left a note, and the kind of note, it’s alarming,” said police Major Carlos Bermudez. Bartheleny said she cannot avoid the reality that she is black and her life mate, the father of their 4-year-old son, is white. “It’s a biracial relationship. Maybe that’s why they did that to Foxx,” she said, adding that the dogs killing could be a hate crime. Police declined to speculate as to motive in the dog’s death. Verron, the couples four-year-old, was a constant companion to the cute little dog he had known all his life. “Foxx is the best friend in the whole wide world,” the boy said, as his mom brushed back her tears. The boy has been told only that Foxx must have run away. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Pembroke Pines Police Department at (954)431-2200 or call Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.The Sun-Sentinel contributed to this report. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2015/08/11/note-on-dogs-body-we-beat-it-to-death-lol/
