Does anyone have a good idea why the latter Cyberfox makes a new link if open tables, ie, I have a link in the taskbar as usually, but if open Cyberfox, it makes one more icon there. That means there are two icon on the taskbar. One such link is still usually is, but the open windows to make a new icon. Have not come across such a thing in the past.
It began if Cyberfox was updated.

I thought, that maybe reinstal will help, but nothing happened, everything is the same.

Yesterday just read, someone spoke about the similar problem, but were another programs.

Probably this is some kind of problem with Cyberfox settings, but at the moment nothing more can not imagine.

This problem has now been solved. If anyone has a similar problem, you might ask.
I think that it is so specific, that is not going to explain anything more here and now.
So if needed, ask me.

Normally, this should not happen unless you installed x32-bit instead of the x64-bit or vice versa.

  • Run Firefox
  • Right-click the original (usual) Firefox icon — Unpin to taskbar
  • Right-click the new Firefox icon — Pin to taskbar

If you have this error still unsolved, please tell me if you have Firefox installed by default, ie You did no changes during installation and where it is located.

Address?

For example, is it

C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Firefox

or

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla\Firefox

or where it is located in Your pc?

This problem may occur only in certain specific cases,

  • if not installed in a standard location,
  • if the previous version is not removed correctly
  • when the settings are modified,
  • if the packet contains an error,
  • you have the same program in a number of different locations - for example, using a standard layout and wearable at the same time computer, when using the same computer as the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version and so on.

There are many possibilities.

I can also say that I did not succeed on the Internet to find anything clever or smart.

Only meaningless copy-paste texts. All they are in style - I think, try this etc.

:D In this version, (v 40.0.2) this problem no longer exist - perhaps it was only a problem in the previous version.
