Hi all:

Since today I got symmetric 200/200 Mb internet connection. The problem happens when I connect Cyberghost, the speed connections slows down till 20/16 or less. I imagine a VPN operator couldn't with such as traffic but I'm losing a lot speed because of VPN.

Does anyone know another VPN service with more bandwidth?.

Yes RobrPatty, Jazztel, nowadays, is the only ISP that offers symmetric fibber. Movistar, for instance, gives you 300/30.

You're not going get much faster than CG.

Out the top 5 none can exceed 10 mb DL so you may just want to use a vpn for p2p and downloading warez but normal stuff you will never reach you're internet speed or even come close to it. Its a matter of privacy over speed in you're case. :)

Have 100/100 fiber. ~97Mb up and down w/o VPN and 85/40 with VPN. Using Anonine paid. Approx 7EUR/month for Open VPN. No logs kept......

It happens when I connect with free VPN tools, the speed connections slows down till 20/16 or less. Now i am using paid versions of VPN USA and that's good:

Did you mean speed won't slow down with, for instance, Pure VPN?. I use my internet connection to upload movies, TV Shows, software...to a spanish private tracker, I understand a USA VPN isn't the best for me, is it?.

Select your closest VPN server with lowest latency/ping usually your local area and UDP protocol is faster then TCP for media communications

I did it, in fact, I selected a server in my own city and the speed slowed down dramatically (with CyberGhost VPN).

What about the server load? If all is low & slow which matters to you, Change another VPN provider.

I wouldn't be expecting high speed from CG by their sheer amount of users.

I can't vouch for Spain or CyberGhost, but with PIA I can get my full 50Mbps out of PIA.

I do use a kinda close USA Server, for those who would be bothered by that. My setup is for downloading and anti-web tracking. I don't see any VPN protecting you from NSA, so pointless to load servers halfway across the world (especially since EU has data retention laws increasingly).
