jalaffa
Silverlight is a free plug-in powered by the .NET framework that is compatible across multiple browsers, devices and operating systems to bring a new level of interactivity wherever the Web works. With support for advanced data integration, multithreading, HD video using IIS Smooth Streaming, and built in content protection, Silverlight enables online and offline applications for a broad range of business and consumer scenarios. Microsoft Silverlight is an application framework for writing and running rich internet applications with emphasis on multimedia, animations, and graphics, with features and purposes similar to those of Adobe Flash. The run-time environment for Silverlight is available as a plug-in for most web browsers. Thanks to Vandit for the update.Download

BTJB
Microsoft Windows 10 does not support Microsoft Silverlight. They throw out this in new default browser Edge and won't be added in the future. It does not support Java too. Most modern browsers are moving away from plugins and toward standard HTML5 controls and technologies. :)
