Some people don't like to install VPN or tools just for getting the key. Also, the alternate promo is just for 6 months and this chip promo auto-extend to 1 year. So, if people get this chip promo key, they don't have to get another key after 6 months and instead continue with the same key.

The last promo similar one from chip was on dec and the extn was on feb.

So, I think it'll be min 3 months to get the etn. However, in the previous promo, they informed in the mail that it'll be in feb but the current promo mail doesn't have any fixed month/date.

The keys are getting extended from last 2 days. Check now!

Those who have got the keys earlier should have noticed that they are extended to 1 Year keys.

Also, the activation period is 23 days from date and time of acquired key for this particular promo. That is surely a Dual Surprise!

No problem, I got a working key from Luanie. I have a question for you, if you don't mind:

Activated it using German proxy. It is saying that it will expire in 180 days. People in topic said that's normal and some time later it will update to full 365 days. Do I need to maintain the German proxy until that, or I can set it back to OFF and use normally?

I just asked for help in Shoutbox and Luaine helped.

I'd surely recommend you to use any other key from a different BD IS promo key for a month until the key is extended. Those who got the keys earlier got the keys extended within 25 days. You can check it via my bitdefender account => My Subscriptions.

Use any of these promo links to get the alternate key until you get the extension of the chip promo key.

Once you get the extension, I'd recommend you to use German proxy or VPN to activate the extended key.
