After you receive your licence, you still need to be on GERMAN IP address for the license to activate otherwise will give you an error.

I also don't know if the licence will extend if my IP is outside the German region.

You can use the proxy installation during key activation or you can turn on VPN and activate the key with normal installation.

The best way is to add the key to your my bitdefender account and once the key is extended, you can use it on the device. Until then you can use any of the 6 months/9 months promo keys.

@Nsaners: This promo link doesn't work with IP Proxies / Proxy Servers. Try with VPN.

Norton auto desactivated my 30 days trail. maybe a bug

Avg blocked all internet traffic after last update ( today )

Eset blocks nsaneforum and others usefull websites. I don't have time to unblock.

so that's it. Bitdefender my last hope.

If you managed to get infected with the absolutely terrible Ask Toolbar on your computer,

don’t be ashamed – it could happen to anybody.

Especially considering that is bundled with Java runtime.

adware loaded with spyware, i would not admit to liking it.

any such toolbars are completely unnecessary.

There may be a catch.

The extn of the key might be linked with the IP of the device/location settings of my bitdefender. Let us wait and watch.

I'd suggest those who used VPN to change location settings to Germany in My Bitdefender Ac and use VPN while adding the key and whenever you login to my bitdefender until the key gets extended. Also, if possible, wait for the key to get extended and then link to any device.
