Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Final

Only thing that stinks is that half my add-ons won't work anymore :P

Same here, shame :wtf: But they'll get updated ;)

I'm still using 3.0.11 for that reason. Also that's the main reason for us still listing the 3.0.11 version.

Edit: someone removed the 3.0.11 from the listing (argh ) - it's easily found on the new download page given though...

Most of the famous plug-ins will get updated fast, I've been using the RC3-Final for the past few days and it's great, you really feel the exceptional speed of the new javascript engine when visiting sites that uses a lot of javascript like gmail or yahoo mail.

Good job Mozilla

I am sorry guys but it's not final

Sorry guys I was mistaken

It seems the RC3 is the same as final so if you're using the RC3 no need for upgrade.

Just to confirm this...

The point of posting this was to point out that it was a final release, that the latest RC3 candidate has been approved working.

Not entirely true...

There are always small changes between RC and Final. And Mozilla does not update the Firefox about page between RC and Final, that is why the about says 3.5 for both.

Also, Mozilla does not always update the release notes website on the first day, it will take a day or two, then there will be a new release note page for the 3.5 release.

Their web site is now updated to 3.5

I have an error as well but it's minor also but very annoying. I move a bunch of toolbars around so they are all on two lines instead of three. But when I open FF, the bookmarks toolbar does not expand by itself. One has to right click on the "chevron" that let's you see the bookmarks on the toolbar and scroll down to "sort by name" and click that. Then the bookmarks toolbar expands and everything is fine. I have to do this each time I start FF, but I feel it's worth it to have the extra viewable screen real estate on my laptop that getting rid of that third toolbar line gives you.
