Recommended Posts

1. Open regedit

2. Go here
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection

3. Create a 'NEW' 32-bit DWORD value named AllowTelemetry and default its 0.

4. Disable a couple of Windows services, its compulsory.

~ Left click Windows icon
~ Right click the 'File Explorer' in Windows 10 Start menu and pick 'Manage' from its context menu.
~ Computer Management will pop up, go to ' Services and Applications ',,,,, ' services ',
~ DISBALE the followings by double click & tick 'Disabled' & OK:~

Diagnostics Tracking Service
dmwappushsvc

5. Reboot Windows to make sure it works.

6. Consequences, Windows 10 no more spying on you, except your "OneDrive" possibly ^.^

p.s. NOT for newbies

p.s. Update Again

Recently check the status,
Under Diagnostic and usage data,
Send your device data to Microsoft,
Still read 'Basic'

Also, Run gpedit.msc to disable it still got same results, damn it !
May be my method never works :("

This is all great, but if you are copying other people's texts, then add also the source and author!

This is an elementary politeness!

Microsoft made the Windows itself. can't believe a simple service disabling can prevent them from accessing your data on demands. gotta dig deeper than that and watch what kind of data is being sent from your Windows to some unknown places in a specific long time, not necessarily to MS servers. maybe I'll myself start doing that.
Thanks DiamondK for the guide. it's better than nothing ofc.

Under 'Search the web and Windows'

Type

data collection

select 'My stuff'

there you are the remaining listings sent to Microsoft, I meant the results after that process.

Never mind, remember last time I posted that life time key for some software.

Someone also remind me not to do this, cause Advanced Member ain't supposed to use key generator(s) :wtf:

I really want to ask a seriously stupid question, thus, What's this site for ?

Be friends no war please, I own the 1st Honor of Computer Science years ago,

I knew the way how to act polite & generous,
For sure, I gonna make it crystal clear provided I didn't do anything wrong.

Have a nice day, you guys

Thanks for posting this there are also other methods on mdl,

can an app be made that would disable it automatically that way we could incorperate it into the iso and make it run on first boot!

we wouldn't even need to do anything after!

wonder if that will happen.

Sorry for wasting your time.
If any Administrator(s) can delete this thread that would be nice to me.

SORRY AGAIN :P

................................

might be, tweak that
gpedit.msc > AdministrativeTemplates > AllSettings > possibly work but can't 100% confirmed !

Whichever way I look into it, this thread better closed forever

Never mind, try again with a new tutorial — have personally experienced many failures in the beginning (such starts bring a greater deal of successes in the longer run.) ;)

Would love to see you write more of such stuff — all the best! F3h9xqz.gif
