Are high scores good? If so, I don't agree with Trend Micro and Lavasoft being so high--actually, I don't agree with them being on the list.

eset is 50 % heavier than kaspersky?

eset is a laggard in every parameter in last 1 year. they should pull up the socks for their next version release

AlienForce1

Are high scores good?

lower score is better

avast cause least impact on system performance

Everytime I see a PC with avast I uninstall it (with their avastclear in Safe Mode) and install Eset Av and the PC seems that it came back to life - so , I can`t agree with this top ...

ESET does not lag my system - there is a reason for that.

I believe what you are saying, though - they have bloated EAV and ESS with unwanted components.

Avast uses all its resources thorough its web protection in you're browser. All though it uses little process in you're tray it slows down you're browsing .

It even tells you this in the settings

I done my own tests i find others that are better as far browsing performance ;)

I will test it again once the new version becomes stable. B)

An interesting point that most folks fail to take into account while commenting is that all such tests are conducted using the default settings on the security product being tested whereas most of us configure those products as per our own suitability within the limitations of our competence. :)
