I had a few warnings flagged up by Eset today,

remote computers trying to make an incoming connection.

ultratools.com (199.58.208.116)

2.20.10.85

68.232.34.191

154.53.224.190

remote computer: ihr14s24-in-f14.1e100.net(216.58.210.78)
local port: TCP53611

There's a load more from akami servers too.

It seems to be linked to c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe

I very rarely get this red flagged Eset warnings from remote computers trying to make an incoming connection.

Do u think i should carry on refusing them.

The only thing i installed recently was AVGTUNEUP (downloaded from here) and i've had a few win7 x64 ultimate updates from microsoft with a few more pending.( one is defender definitions and 59 are opitional).

Prevention is better than remedy - I suggest you work at getting your ports and configurations . . . . . . . . . . to an impregnable state. B)

Thanks dcs18.

Looks very useful.

I remember trying some of those tests a long time ago.

I'm on a 3g dongle which is not the same as having a "proper" net connection.

I'll see what the tests have to say.

EDIT:

All tests came back 100% Ok.

I'm trying this one too:

http://www.hackerwatch.org/probe/

But i think the way dongle connections work ,some tests will not be useful to me.
