Trillian (desktop client no longer have the social feed within Facebook) looking for alternative software

Social Feed: The updated versions only support the messaging portion of Facebook and desktop clients will no longer have the social feed within Facebook.

anyone could please recommend a good alternative to Trillian? a good desktop client to visualize my Facebook News Feed,thanks in advance!
