Today, Malwarebytes announced the hiring of Filipos Mouliatis,

otherwise known as thisisu, and the acquisition of his tool Junkware Removal Tool.

JRT is a tool that is designed to remove adware and other potentially unwanted programs from a Windows computer.

This tool is a very popular download at BleepingComputer.com with over 4 million downloads since Filipos began developing it.

It will be exciting to see how JRT partnered with Malwarebytes will go even further to

protect Windows users from adware and other unwanted programs.

There is a free on-demand version of Malwarebytes so if his program is integrated you wont have to pay. Also what on earth has CCleaner go to do with anything? CCleaner just cleans temp files and registry entries, It's not a junk or malware removal tool.

MalwareBytes dont charge you for there scanner or to remove malware only they charge for real time . And JRT is very buggy it removes stuff it shouldn't maybe MalwareBytes can make it a better program. :)

I stopped using JRT because it would screw up one of my Google Chrome add on's. As others have said, maybe MBAM will fix it. In the meantime, I use Adwcleaner, instead.

I always have to reinstall Internet Download Manager after using either one of these programs.

Literate? That is quite ironic considering you don't know difference between "they're" and "there" :D

"Junkware" refers to the stuff that installers install on the sly or with idiots consent. Non-needed extra programs for monetary gain usually. That's what most "computer literate" people would assume from it's name. Not what you assumed which was something like CCleaner.

He said he was computer literate, not English literate, which you obviously aren't either or you would know the meaning of the word as he used it and not how you misused it.

I know full well what he said and didn't say I was. Either way it was STILL ironic and STILL funny. The topic must fly way over your head.

Im english literate to my ex girlfriend always hated me saying there when its they're I dont care I say what I want I know the difference. Junkware is what I like to call pups potentially unwanted applications or programs different people call it different things for the point of this thread I know what junkware is and I stand corrected on the programmer getting hired by malwarebytes the acquisition is good like the acquisition of zerovulnerabilitylabs exploitshield and I know "there" two different things.

Oh and as for stray It didnt fly over his head I know what hes talking about and I thought the same shit I meant computer literate and there is things that are wrong with my post aside from only "there" you didnt point them out thats ironic and thats funny..

But the other things were not relevant and I don't think you quite know what "ironic" means.

But you didn't "say" it, you wrote it and that is the big difference. Words are different so sounds. It was quite ironic the fact you used the word "literate" earlier. Whether or not it was meant as computer literate was irrelevant. Either way it was ironic and funny.

Grammar: The difference between knowing your sh1t, and knowing you're sh1t!

The last time I used JRT it offered its results of 'malware' etc and didn't have a selection option, it was all or nothing. A number of entries were not malware in my opinion unless I wanted to break HSS by removing the HSS entries it flagged. That and addon entries.

Making people pay to use it is a smartass comment and is intended to be as such and ccleaner can remove junkware and malware if it hides itself in the temp files folder which alot of malware drive-by downloads do trojans hide there to but yes its not a junkware or malware removal tool per se (I did per se correctly I must not be english illiterate no Im just lazy).

Its the easiest way to say a person that knows computers and I know exactly what ironic means. We have branched off topic and that is jrt is ok there are programs like it that do a better job..
