MidnightDistortions
Looking for a good free PC audio enhancement software for Windows, trying DFX Audio but some of the features are only available in the paid version. Any help for a free version would be great, thanks in advance. :D

Chancer
If the hardware can't produce a decent sound, no software will make it.

A.lemane
I have noticed increasing the sample rate, and bit depth improves the sound quality. DFX does not provide this option.24 bit 48000 is enough otherwise u could end up causing a serious damage to ur sound card after maybe 48 h of usage

It won't do anything on your card. Plus, it's not a sound card at all but a cheap APU (falsely called onboard sound card) that all the processing is done by the CPU. spudboy
If the hardware can't produce a decent sound, no software will make it. :yes:Exactly. Your audio isn't supposed to sound the way it does with these "enhancers". Invest in a nice 2.1 channel PC speaker setup.

It's a good choice much better than DFX
werty12345
There are many out there. DFX, DPS Audio Enhancer, SoundPimp, ProfoundSound, Hear, Breakaway Audio Enhancer. Try playing with the equalizer in your audio driver settings. I observed that the default setting in my Realtek software was "normal" but when changed that to "Powerful" it enhanced the audio.
