Batu69
More security apps adding support for Windows 10 Windows 10 is projected to launch in just a few weeks, so software developers across the world are now rushing to make their applications compatible with the new operating system, thus making sure that those who install it do not experience any compatibility issues. Symantec, for instance, has recently updated the beta versions of its software to be Windows 10 ready, which means that those who are currently running the technical preview builds of the new OS on their computers can now install Symantec software to protect their PCs against malware. Keep in mind, however, that these are beta versions of Symantec’s apps, so bugs and issues could still be experienced until the final versions arrive. Needless to say, while they work fine on the preview builds of Windows 10, additional work to make them fully stable on the RTM version is still needed, so keep an eye on new releases and update the security software when new builds arrive. Built-in Windows 10 antivirus Just like its predecessor, Windows 10 will come with built-in security solution Windows Defender, which will be enabled by default in Home and Pro SKUs and will protect your system automatically. In Windows 8, Windows Defender was up and running all the time until you installed a third-party security application. If that happened, Windows Defender was automatically disabled (but not uninstalled) until the third-party app was in its turn removed, only to be automatically re-enabled when no other security solution was running. In Windows 10, the same behavior is expected to be continued, especially because this way, all users would remain protected at all time, with the risk of getting attacked or infected when no security solution is running. Needless to say, Symantec’s security apps are really coming in handy these days, so go ahead and download Norton Security beta right now to use it on Windows 10 preview. softpedia.com
