Guest
I tried WaterFox and was not pleased. I uninstalled WaterFox and then discovered my FireFox profile was screwed. I started FF and it was like a fresh install, no bookmarks nor passwords....WTF?
maximus
I think they share the same profile and what happened when you uninstalled Waterfox: it deleted the folder that contained all the profile information stored on your pc. Just guessing...
lurch234
Some lessons to be learned here. Unfortunately at Dudleys' expense. Its best to look up if your mozilla based browser interferes in some way with firefox. Use a portable if possible when trying out a new browser. But most importantly make regular backups!

eXentios
Firefox and Waterfox shares the same profile data. There is a note regarding this in the Waterfox download page //www.nsanedown.com/?request=163265850Says - Note: Waterfox shares the same profile data that Firefox does. Do not run both Firefox and Waterfox at the same time.

Kalju
If you did not delete by yourself your user data or profile, you are in your profile and all data are there, where they must be. You only need say to Firefox, what data it needs to use.Uninstallation does not relate in any way to Firefox data. Most likely, you now have two databases and Firefox uses just the most recent.Give to Firefox to know, which database it must use. That's all.If You don't know what and how, I can assist You, but a bit later.
