steven36
Seems its a windows 10 service you may will need it when time comes to do free upgrade there sneaking all kinds of updates in windows updates to be able to upgrade . I guess if your not a legit user. maybe it would be OK to disable these at lest tell and its useable for pirates . I'm a legit user but i block everything Microsoft sends out but windows updates in my firewall . I only use the store once to update windows 8.1 then I block it too even .

DLord
Searching the net, I did not find a detailed explanation for this service's function (that is on expert level). Now I really wonder what are the possible negative side effects of disabling this service. I would rather have enough information about this service and what actually it does before disabling it. DLord
windows 8.1 im see no diagnostics ??Either your system is not up to date, or you are missing it. I got Win8.1 on one of my systems and I am 100% sure that the mention service is there. Keep in mind that this service was added to 8.1 through a recent update, unlike Win10 that had it from the beginning.
