Knightmare
I tried searching for an answer online, but it seemed like no one had the answer I was looking for. All of my folders are unhidden and I don't know why. When I go to the folder options, it says not to show hidden folders; when I check the properties of one of the folders, it is set as a read-only file and the hidden button is greyed out. Again, I don't know how this happened--my assumption is it happened while I was trying to fix my HDD/Repair my OS--but I need to know if there is a quicker way to fix the issue and reset the folders that are hidden by default back to being hidden. unknownasphyxiated
i don't think "Reset Folders" will solve the problemit's just reset the folder view settings back to default, not folder's attributeIgnore it or go to previous restore point before the problem happenedmanual fix > compare with working pc and manually apply the attribute
