[Ink Saving] What software do you use?

I started this thread as my favourite Ink Saving Software, which also has other good features has gone tits up.

It started printing and leaving red lines through photos.

I tried also GreenCloud, however quality is terrible.

So any ideas why FinePrint (v8.2. 8) started doing this and can you recommend another software which also does double side printing great.

I assume you've uninstalled and re-installed your current software.

I uninstalled it, rebooted, printed with default printer and no red lines.

Reinstalled, rebooted, printed with FinePrint v8.2.8 and red lines.

Your assumption is correct.

And for a long shot;

Ink savers work - obviously - by reducing the amount of ink used.

Could it be that you have a partially blocked jet and when the amount of ink sent is reduced there isn't enough to get through and some other variable makes it happen at a particular point on the head's travel?

Hope you get sorted.

Thanks.

Problem with Epson non saver printing is its still very wet, FinePrint near dry.

<edit> I ran through the alignment settings for my printer.

I reinstalled fineprint, made no difference.
