I thought this release would include a final 64 bit... :(

There is no reason to think so.

I really liked the 64bit verson of Firefox 38. i was hoping that went it went out of beta they would finally have realeased a 64bit version. But to no avail.. It was much faster in speed than their 32bit version and I was really impressed. But agin I still wonder if the will ever have a 64bit . This was just a tease to me

The 64-bit flavor of Firefox was available for a very very long time only in the alpha stage - now, it has been extended to the beta stage.

Due to its unexpected popularity - it shall be available as a stable release, too (sooner than later.) :)

I use to test Nighty back when they 1st came up with the rapid release cycle they copied from chrome . Back before this a major build could go on for ever 3.5 had 19 builds to get anything really that new you tested Nighty , after version 4.0 its been the same old same old every thing done on a tight Schedule and it became too much like chrome . You don't have to wait very long for new features that you don't really want anymore .

The fact they not added anything in the last 2 years but stuff i must reverse to keep it half looking and working like Firefox and they lied to us back when they 1st came up with the rapid release cycle that we were going be able to switch browser channels from the updates within Firefox that only lasted one build and they pulled it . I've not tested nightly in years . Someone has to do it but its not going to be me . The only thing I tested here in last years was RC so I could reverse what they added before it became stable. :P
