jalaffa
Reason for why Trial Reset will not work for a Beta version:A significant change was announced in the "change history" for AnyDVD as of version 6554 and this may raise questions. The change prevents a non-registered user from running a "BETA" version of the product. It will NOT affect the trial period for pre-purchase testing of the official release product version in any way.The text for the change as found in the change log is as follows:Change: AnyDVD beta versions can no longer be evaluatedSince beta versions address a critical DVD/BD issue and are intended for a limited audience, it was thought best to avoid any problems if a trial user is evaluating the product prior to purchase, downloads a beta version and then runs into problems if the beta is not "ready for prime time".All software providers issue betas prior to official distribution to verify that a specific problem is indeed resolved. Then this migrates to the "official" download list. Rather then risk losing a potential customer with a "not ready" beta this change was incorporated.__________________Frank Hollander / SlySoft Support Team
