Downloading files from internet is easy in Firefox, but sometimes you might want to schedule downloads. For example, you can download files faster during off peak time, but you may not be at your computer at that time for downloading, so the solution is schedule the download.

Here is how to schedule download in Firefox. Download Plan is a simple add-on for Firefox that allows you to download files at specific time interval or at a less congested time. This add-on lets users to create a download plan to start the download automatically at a desired time.

Now, click the download icon to open the Option panel, select download location, then set start, and end times for your plan, during which the files will be download. Download Plan will do the rest.

It is very easy to use and saves you having to stay up late waiting for quitter periods, although you will need to leave your browser open and your PC switched on.
