My KIS 2016 IP Address Ranges : 

184.173.188.104/30,184.173.149.184/30,50.22.78.28/30,50.97.41.96/29,169.55.0.224/30,169.55.40.5/28,31.78.22.50/28,185.80.221.18/28

Simply copy and paste these IP Ranges as-it-is in "Remote addresses" and "Local addresses" Fields of KIS 2016.

So this method only works with those antivirus or firewalls which supports CIDR IP format. What about the antivirus which does not support CIDR IP format such as ESET Smart security 9?

i think there are some new ips, because today idm was blocked as fake key error. Norton installed and rules added indeed.

1. Download and install Internet Download Manager Retail version from here:

2. Now Right Click on Kasperky tray icon and choose Settings.

3. Under Protection Center tab choose Firewall.

4. Now under Network Rules section click Settings Tab.

5. A window named Firewall with appear with two tabs Application Rules and Packet Rules.

6. Now click on Packet Rules tab.

7. Click on Add (+ green sign)

8. A Network Rule window will appear now choose values as below:

  


Action		:  Block
Name  		:  I-Will-Buy-IDM-One-Day
Protocol	:  Leave It Un-Checked
Direction	:  Inbound/Outbound
Address         :  Addresses from the list
Remote Address  :  Add IP address ranges given below

Well, not sure how well host file editing still works (since i heard host editing trick no more works) , but that's not ideal for atleast kaspersky users (not sure what other security apps does) . As soon kaspersky detects the edited host file it'll show warning & reset the host file, making exclusions resembles futility  . .

I did it through my Norton Security and there is no problem till now.. just gave the rule in firewall settings in Norton..

Can someone provide all the new IPs in old format, not in CIDR format,  i just want to add them to Windows firewall with batch file ! :rolleyes:

View the Installed Rules:

 

netsh advfirewall firewall show rule name="Rule Name: Internet Download Manager (IDM) (IDMan.exe)"

 

Remove the Installed Rules:

 

netsh advfirewall firewall delete rule name="Rule Name: Internet Download Manager (IDM) (IDMan.exe)"

 

Export the Installed Rules to a file on the Desktop:

 

netsh advfirewall firewall show rule name="Rule Name: Internet Download Manager (IDM) (IDMan.exe)" > %userprofile%\desktop\IDM_WFW_Rules.txt

i used your IDM.EasyWay.v1.1 fast and easy,

but there is a small issue. Is need one rule for allow connection, otherwise you cant download.
