Four (4) years ago I purchased an Acer, Apsire 5820T laptop. The crystal webcam worked fine for around four (4) months. It stopped working and I tried everything I know on how to get it working. I purchased my partner a new laptop, Toshiba blah blah blah. So I did a factory reset on the Acer and started installing all the softwares for my Son. I noticed today, the webcam was listed in device manager 1.3m. So I tried magic camera and it worked. Later on stopped working and is not in device manager anymore. LeeSmithG Posted April 23, 2015 Author Share Posted April 23, 2015 Update, I got it working via device manager. I disabled the u.s.b. hub it's connected to, then re-enabled the hub and in imaging devices it appears as 1.3M. So I started Magic Camera and selected it and it works. However, soon as program closes it removes itself from device manager. Any ideas on how to keep it in device manager. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
