It is the only PDF file viewer that can open and interact with all PDF documents. Being connected to Adobe Document Cloud — it's easier than ever to work with PDFs on computers and mobile devices. View and interact with all types of PDF content, Fill forms, sign, and comment on your mobile device, Save on ink and toner when printing from your Windows PC, Store and share files online with instant access to recently viewed files and a lot more.

It is not completely FREE

There are some added paid services as : Adobe Export PDF and Adobe PDF Pack

and needs monthly subscription

The completely free product is not different from previous version

what is this?

is it different from regular adobe reader?

If you visit their homepage this is what you are presented with first now for free Adobe Reader (previously). Also Google Play presents it as Adobe Acrobat (earlier Adobe Reader).

Acrobat Reader DC = Adobe Document Cloud combines a completely reimagined Adobe Acrobat with the power of e-signatures. Now, you can edit, sign, send and track documents wherever you are — across desktops, mobile and web. All from Adobe, the company that invented PDF.

Do you mean literally or mostly? Because I installed DC Reader, and the UI is radically different from XI Reader. Not sure about features yet, aside from the obvious cloud connectivity parts.

Everytime I open a document, I click the arrow to close the sidebar (Tools Pane) containing Export PDF, Edit PDF etc. If I close the document and then open another, the sidebar always comes back even if I close it, does anyone know how to close it permanently?

Edit: Anyone else getting in Event viewer this?

The description for Event ID 16 from source Adobe Reader cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

For those of you wanting paid features, the Universal Adobe Patcher works with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

I still have Adobe Acrobat 11, works fine after all this time... (Multilanguage) (Keygen - Team X-Force)

Should I upload it here and share?

I have the same problem, even in Acrobat Firefox plugin!

Did anyone manage to hide the sidebar permanently?

Thanks
