J.C
Long history short, I work with Design and I use tons of different typefaces, I used to have a bunch of these installed on my PC, but now I'm switching to a minimal approach and I don't want to have these typefaces on my PC anymore, instead I'll "install > use > remove" to make things better. The problem is that I don't want to remove them one by one, and before someone says "Go to Font Settings > Restore default font settings". Dude, this DOESN'T WORK! I don't know why so many sites tell you to do this, this won't delete the typefaces, this won't work like a "reset to factory default".That's what I need: Windows 8.1 Fonts Folder, a clean one, like you just installed the OS. I found the one for Windows 8 here, is there any difference between this one and 8.1?Thanks.
masterupc
Secure way: 1. Install virtualbox or wmware or w/e 2. Do a clean install of win 8.1... it's not important if it's original or not... 3. Do a backup to your system (system restore can do the trick). 4. Copy de 'Fonts' folder from the virtual enviroment to your root (to make it easier). 5. Restart your PC with your cd or reset your PC while restarting in order to enter the diagnostics mode. 6. Find in advanced options the command prompt and then (if you know some of old DOS commands) delete the Fonts folder in your windows directory (AFAIK you should first change some of the attributes of the folder in order to delete it) and then copy the Fonts folder in your root to your windows folder (then you should apply the same attributes that you changed before... if you don't know how, do some research there, it's easy). 7. Restart your PC. DONE! GOOD LUCK!
