dcs18
Nero is just one my favorites - I also particularly dig ImgBurn with its wide array of configurations (can befuddle most folks.) ^_^
VileTouch
nero (lite) and imgburn are 2 of the best optical media burners available. actually there never have been a serious alternative, i mean with the same set of features. (there are generic cd burners out there by the truckload)and yes people still use them. i don't want to gift a client a flash drive just so they can take the goods home once! You have hundreds online alternatives and so on.
SnakeMasteR
Nero was good years back, then it became a shitty bloatware for the sake of being a shitty bloatware.ImgBurn, sometimes i use Ashampoo for audio or video discs, i don't need anything else. (outlets, jukeboxes, database servers, etc) i won't risk them plugging in a virus ridden thumb drive there and then blaming MY software for it!. you know how people are. Fallon
Movies go on external drive or stick and it's too much fuss to burn audio for myself.I only started burning for friends.- EZ CD is best to make 80 minutes mixed CD"s. It can also handle most burning jobs.- PowerISO has the interesting Mixed mode CD option and multi-burn. That mixed mode comes with *bin files which originate from CDRWin, a program that is still around.- Burnaware does not have Mixed mode and is only 32-bit, but it has multi-burn and is pretty good.- EAC logs can be necessary for certain Uploads, but I dislike the program.- ImgBurn will do the job, but is also disliked by me (very useful info)- Nero. Nero? I have used it once because of its cult status. For who is used to it. For me bloated and goodby.

Jordan
i usually burn softwares dvds & MHD MKV/MP4 videos, i tried some programs mentionned here, but my prefered burner is definetely UltraISO! 12 min to burn a full 4.37 GB folder @4x speed! thats enough for me ,-) There is more advanced programs whitch provide plenty of features, but i'm not interested ,-) Nero is good for other tasks but slow as hell when burning MKVs!
