Daum PotPlayer v1.6.53104 Portable by Baltagy (x32 of course)

I'm getting a "Daum PotPlayer.exe is not a valid Win32 application" error in Win.XP SP3.

Is it anything I could do to fix it ?

The BETA version addresses the problem with WinXP SP1/2. Is there any portable BETA edition available ?

You can extract Potplayer Installer with 7zip or universal extractor and use a paf portable from portableapps beta area or use the one from portableappz and just update the files in the apps folder :) You could also ask fuken to do one were you can offline install it by just pointing the installer to the paf installer .

Daum PotPlayer 1.6.53133 Portable

http://www.gboxes.com/fyjka2rzcyws/PotPlayer.rar

NOTE:

For both links choose Free Download.

There you go mona you can use the files from his upload and update a paf portable , But betas sometimes update 3 or 4 times a week , best stay on top by learning to exact for yourself and rar format is not really portable its just rared binaries. PotPlayer is not a native portable therefore you need paf launcher or spoon or some way to contain it.

@BALTAGY

Thanks once more for the file. This one works fine on Win XP,. but with non HD vids only.

Tried it with 480p and 720p versions of the same music video.

480p version was played OK, but 720p wasn't acceptable at all.

Yes, from You Tube. Here is the link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-eUufUZYgA

Just to be sure I tried it also with another file : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqd0VDgMt30

Here results differed from the first one, cause in both : 480p and 720p versions sound was more or less equally crippled.

Hey, Baltagy,

I decided to check also an online version and found out - also streaming sound isn't perfect on my Win XP.

So there are 2 possibilities : the YT vids are crippled (I doubt it) or my Win XP is screwed up (might be true - it's only temporary, emergency arrangement).

In that last situation the feedback I gave you in the previous post would be not valid any longer.

It seems Daum Potplayer can't play all Youtube videos, mona links don't work with installed version with me but my links working fine, maybe Youtube videos don't have the same codec and Daum Potplayer can't play them all

idk about older versions of Daum Potplayer if they have same problem or not

Update:

Daum Potplayer running mona links fine it just takes sometime until video start, i think it depends to the internet speed

I tested the portable the installed version they are both working, my internet is not good so my test wasn't good

  • 2 weeks later...

When I updated to this version, every time I try to play a video from the playlist, stop and play a file, basically anything other than close PotPlayer and open directly with the file, PotPlayer freezes. Anyone having the same issue?
