spudboy
After installing FF36 my firewall is constantly asking to allow IGMP requests. The requests go away after closing FF and immediately start again whenever it is opened. Have disabled Firefox "Hello" but it did not stop. I DID already set a block rule, but I would like to know why it's happening in the first place. Uninstalled 36 & reinstalled 35... no more IGMP requests. Uninstalled 35, reinstalled 36... IGMP requests came back. Approximately 10 per minute.Edit: Before someone mentions add-ons, that was already considered and it happens on a 100% clean install and/or with all add-ons disabled. :-)

spudboy
3.6 not good @all stay with 3.5.1 or 3.5.0What exactly is not good? It's working perfectly for me outside of what I posted about, and several security flaws were also fixed.Unfortunately, that says absolutely zero regarding the IGMP requests. I disabled HTTP/2 in about:config and it still does it, so it's something else.
Sonar
I'm not a networking pro but I believe if I send you into the direction of this program Wireshark you might find out a little more.
Joe13
Did you search for IGMP in about:config?

I can see the IGMP requests starting every time FF is started, but I have no idea what exactly I am supposed to be looking for in Wireshark. I mean, it doesn't tell me why exactly it's happening ONLY when FF36 is running. It kinda just tells me that it's happening, lol.Did you search for IGMP in about:config?I did. Nothing there. I do not want to allow them, what I want is for them to stop altogether. Even though the requests are blocked, they are still happening, they just get blocked.Edit: I found out the information. I will be reverting back to FF35 until it has been resolved.http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2911235&start=
