Ballistic Gelatin
I believe there are a couple of ways to do this.1. Click on the "FILE" tab, then > Info > Versions [Manage Versions dropdown menu] > Recover unsaved workbooksAny unsaved workbooks will be found in:C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles2. You should also go into Excel Options (FILE > Options > Save) and configure Excel to “Save AutoRecover information every (X) minutes” and tick the box immediately below, “Keep the last autosaved version if I closed without saving.”Your AutoRecover file location is: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\HTH. If so where?ThanksYes, this tab is part of the 'Main Tabs'. However, I cannot get it to show on my installation of Excel. See below for details.Right-click on an empty spot of the Ribbon (usually on the far right) and select "Customize the Ribbon." On the right-hand side of the dialogue box that appears, there will be a drop-down menu, with 'Main Tabs' appearing as the default selection.'Background Removal' should appear as the last entry in the drop-down menu, under 'Add-ins'. Below that, there will be sub-menu items, including 'Refine' and 'Close'. Under 'Close', there will be 'Discard all changes' and 'Keep all changes', as shown in your screenshot. The box for 'Background Removal' is checked on my installation, and I tried using the Up/Down arrows on the right to move this tab farther in to the left. But the arrows are greyed out when I select 'Background Removal'. So I can't move it; it doesn't even appear anywhere in my Ribbon.I don't have any 'backgrounds' on any of my spreadsheets, so that might be the reason why I can't make use of the the 'Background Removal' tab. There's simply nothing to remove. If I can find out any more about this, I will post back.
