AnyDVD 7.5.8.0

AnyDVD works in the background to automatically remove the copy protection of a DVD movie as soon as it's inserted into the drive, allowing you then to backup the movie using a DVD backup tool such as CloneDVD and CloneDVD mobile. You can also remove the RPC region code, thereby making the movie region free and viewable on any DVD player and with any DVD player software.

After applying patch, program does not function at all, nothing happens !

Getting messages; CD/DVD-station not ready ! (??)

Thinking of uninstalling this crap and installing old version with key !!

It looks OK to me. Although, it does not work for Blu-Ray because it requires internet access which Slysoft will use to invalidate whatever the BRD patch does,.

Went back to version 7.5.6 ( with key !!), program rips DVDs etc., it even seems to read the DVD.

If I want to play the DVD, without any restrictions, do I have to rip it first and then play this file with MPC or PDVD ??

If I play the DVD ,after AnyDVD readed the file, nothing has chanced !!

Disclaimer: Have DL'd versions up to 7.5.7.5 (beta's), but have not gotten into Blu-ray Bk-up yet. ^_^

Can anybody explain how to play a DVD without any advertisements etc.etc. with AnyDVD/HD .??

So ,readed with AnyDVD, and then "clean" play with WMP or PDVD ????

Do I have to rip the DVD first ???

These questions are too difficult,I guess, coz Im not getting any answer.........

Have heard about DVD-Cloner ,seems to do the same job as AnyDVD .

Is it better then AnyDVD ??

Hi Robo, so it does not remove the annoying advertisements, and warnings for illegal copying etc.etc ?? ( This worthless information always starts at the beginning of each DVD, when playing it )

Do we have to rip the DVD, and burn it again for removing the copy-protection with AnyDVD ?

Clone-DVD does the same job,but is much easier to handle !

The patch did not work , it did not rip or copy,by saying ; drive not ready ( ?)

When I used a version with key, it did rip and copy and also readed the DVD in the station !!

Pete 12, Launch AnyDVD, and then use a program such as CloneDVD2 to backup your movie. Within CloneDVD2, make sure just the checkbox for the main movie is the only box checked, then when you backup your movie you will have the main movies only, none of the warnings, none of the advertisements.

Yes, it works Ok ! With AnyDVD and CloneDVD2, you write the DVD in a temp.folder and when done ,it asks for a DVD R/RW , when inserted in your DVD-station CloneDVD2 burns the DVD, WITHOUT ANY ADVERTISEMENTS etc.etc .

Tested, and really fine DVD ,played with PDVD !!

Takes some work ( and time!), but the result is a clean DVD , with no s*** , and only the movie ,you wanted to see, on it !!

Yes, you can play these VTS-files with all these players, just tried !!

You have to chance your output in CloneDVD2 to DVD-TS in the temp-folder, really perfect !!

If this AnyDVD was a bit cheaper, would almost buy it, coz it works great, for sure with a working key !

TheEmpathicEar

All I can do is do a thorough uninstall and then reinstall. It should have worked on this DVD. It was re-released in 2010 - "Defending Your Life" from 1991. Of course, the error message is coming from "CloneDVD2" [Elaborate Bytes, but really Slysoft] - the latest version. It could be that I need to reinstall this as well, but usually this error reflects on AnyDVD...

Reinstalling might help, you could use ConvertXtoDVD also.

This program converts almost every file-extension to DVD, its very good,Im using the portable.

I finally got around to doing a thorough uninstall and reinstall of AnyDVD. Now, it works. I have no idea what happened...
