jalaffa
VirtualBox is an application installed on an existing host operating system; within this application, additional operating systems can be loaded and run, each with its own virtual environment. For example, several Linux distributions can be hosted on a single machine running Windows XP; likewise, XP and Vista can run on a machine running Linux, and so on. There is a free for personal or evaluation use proprietary version and a GNU General Public License (GPL) version. Thanks to Adriano for the update.Download

steven36
If you want Win 10 support Best to use VM Ware , maybe if were lucky we get Windows 10 support when Windows 10 beta comes out . The developers do this for free and dont get paid for it so there in no hurry for that there just trying to get bugs out of it right now, :)

But shared folder works ok, except I must to confirm when I want to copy some files. Think that is only additional protection.
MasterFaster
4.3.12 is the last working release for me. I cannot start my virtual machines with newer versions or the program crashes at start.Unfortunately, the security changes after 4.3.12, made the program unusable on many Windows hosts. What a disaster they've created and they don't seem to have any idea on how to fix it.Too bad, cause I quite like VirtualBox.Looks like VMWare here I come,
