Support via Remote Administration

I often provide support my customers via Remote Administration. Currently I am using TeamViewer but previously using LogmeIn.

Now I want to move a step forward and required your guidance regarding this.....

I want to install a remote administration software which works silently, doesn't shows on taskbar or tray icon.

In TeamViewer there is always a tray icon appears if TM service running and someone from customer side disable it. Plus If you provide support you have only two options....

1- All work shows what you have done on PC. or

2- Show black screen... (which some customer don't like it)

any suggestion or software...???

I need the Remote administration software which has following features.....

  • Work in background.
  • Has multiple sessions.
  • Free or Commercial no problem......

I've tried a number of different software packages but settled on teamviewer as it seems to give the best stability with the right options.

WELL WITH NO SOFTWARE AT TASK BAR WHO HELL DO YOU CALLL IT SUPPORT YOU SEEM LIKE A DaTA THEIF :angry:

all that i just said was because we coders would hardly make application like that so much malicious AND DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY but if you even paid for custom made software it would be mailicious as the first person wont even get to control you (disconnect) and you would probably get sued up your ass

as for black screeen its done to reduce bandwitch -- couldnt you guess

and i can provide you with more efficient softare in terms of data and added some voice functionality and some featheres

i will say one very one thats ammy admin :rolleyes:

WwooWW... suggestion and shouting same time......... I am impressed...

I think you works only with same type of customers....... (may be they only work with selfies and FB). If you got experience with machine/production environment, where you want to give support but don't want to leak your trade secrets or sometimes on customer side the person is not capable/literate enogh to handle these information.

My last experience (in December 2014) a customer damaged their 16 printing heads (cost more than 5 million rupees) only because he changed the max. printing width in firmware which we adjust few months via remote support.

If we want to theft the data.... lots of option available in the market......

I am not talking about the black wallpaper... I am talking about the "Show black screen" on customer PC so he can't see the working screen....

weellllll i understand the frustration of some illiterate (i dont mean to mock anybody) customer(have to even say please click the accept connection button and they are like what ???) its a real pain but we have to abide by some rules a and laws (not laws ethics)

its been long sice i used skype so please elaborate this

as for ammy no such option i think and try ammy think will give most solution if not tell (and ammy rests back wallpaper after connection over if that was what you meant)

amd funny think how did your customer acess printe firmware with his own (illiterate in the case or did you instruct and thought he would do this right) GTG

Aahh... my bad... they saw what I have done but they don't understand that I have trained and knows all pros and cons about the machine....... many people think.. if someone else can do this so they can also do it there self... It is just one experience I have told you... there are lot of blunders people were done time to time. We trained people if we find them capable and responsible... than we transfer our knowledge otherwise our expertise become someone curse...
