Knightmare
I installed Bitcomet because my luck with other torrent clients has been little to none with them working 100%. I like how fast the downloads are, but there is a yellow light in the bottom corner which says that my listening port is blocked. I remember having this issue when I installed Bitcomet years ago but I don't remember how to fix it. I searched online and they told me to check my firewall settings, which I did, but I don't see anything unusual. I'm using ESET 7 and Peerblock. I excluded Bitcomet from ESET--which did nothing--and I tried to see if the IP is blocked in Peerblock, but it isn't.Any suggestions?
v8commodore
Have you opened the port in your router that Bitcomet uses?In Eset open advanced setupnetwork - rules and zonesopen setup for zone & rule editorunder the general tab, check the action box to "allow"under local tab browse for bitcomet application & add the port number bitcomet uses. Then ok each dialog box.
