steven36
I don't ask anyone to follow the rules, that's their choice to make....We don't have to do ANYTHING in our lives we don't wish to...Of course there will be consequences if we don't but it still our choice...The only thing we all have to do is die, no choice in that, we all die one way or another....I just worry sometimes that threads are removed due to bias by an individual (not saying that's the case) if they are that is wrong and needs to be addressed. One thing its best is to not take this :shit: to serious my life goes on with or with out the internet . That's just like people on here that hold grudges over some silly debate get with reality grow up . There's people on here that really knows me they know I dont take this serious and I dont hold grudges if people can move on . Ill go out of the way to avoid them if needed .
dMog
Most of the time if I see a post like that I'm not going post in it regardless if i agree with it or not . Most of the post will just be a hate argument going back and forth . Someone ask here while back why is the general News topic not updated more than it is . Its because a lot in the World News just starts arguments and we fell its best not to post it because we dont want start and argument that may cause someone to be ban.you're talking about "we"? Who's "we"?Most of the post will just be a hate argument going back and forthHow do you know that?I know you're defending staff but I'd like a reply from staff!if you want to talk to the staff...then do as they requested send them a private message....if you were "the staff" would you be up 24 7 365 just reading all the posts//// every single one of them just in case some disgruntled member wants to ask you something.....you were told earlier in the thread that you can and should PM the staff for this kind of stuff... Skunk1966
if you want to talk to the staff...then do as they requested send them a private message....if you were "the staff" would you be up 24 7 365 just reading all the posts//// every single one of them just in case some disgruntled member wants to ask you something.....you were told earlier in the thread that you can and should PM the staff for this kind of stuff...Most stuff regarding moderation should not be dealt with in the public, especially when the only reason to make a topic about it is to discuss or question mod or admin decisions or starting a fight about it and if it hasn't been started as one, it will most likely end with one, happened multiple times in the past.A different thing was the debatting about banned hosts because that was something where a majority of users were interested in.If a topic or post gets removed, everyone is free to write to anyone of the moderation team and (if he or she doesn't already know) ask why it happened. I don't think the whole forum has to discuss every mod or admin decision and to be honest, they don't need any approval for anything from us and demanding it this way is kinda bugged logic.that's how I responded a few times in the past and never got a satisfying answer. The topic I'm referring to in my first post was an off-topic chat about how members are dealing with things here (wasn't started by me) and evolved into a discussion about the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo. No faul language was used and it was a good discussion which wasn't finished.if you'd read all posts by me you would know I posted this
Ryrynz
It's all about transparency.. All too often we see people "in power" abuse it or run things like their own personal playground.

Administrator Lite Posted January 15, 2015 Administrator Share Posted January 15, 2015 Topic Closed.Several posts in the topic in question have some very offensive content. The topic creator always receives notice when a moderator performs an action on a topic (we modified the forum software to do this automatically on our behalf). I personally have hidden that topic. That topic itself was created to berate a member of staff who removed a topic, which contained racist remarks.I am more than happy to ban those who cannot follow our board rules. Members are free to join any forum on the internet, we don't force anyone to be here.Remember all staff are volunteers and they shouldn't have to explain everything they do, especially when its clear why a topic was removed. Its unacceptable for when they perform appropriate actions, which someone doesn't quite agree with to cry "censorship", they, like anyone on the forums shouldn't have to deal with abuse.Just so we are all clear:The staff are here to ensure that the forums stays as neat and as tidy as possible. Posts may be edited, moved, split, locked, hidden or even deleted if deemed necessary. They will not tolerate abuse of any kind whatsoever. We try to look after our members, and as such, expect the same from our members. If there is a problem with any member on this forum, please contact a staff member so that they can deal with it appropriately. Please don't try to deal with these issues by yourself as it will most likely cause bigger problems. The decision of an administrator is final and not up for discussion.Members should also remember that this forum is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links etc will not be tolerated. Posts should be respectful to other members of our community.nsane.forums aims to provide equal opportunities its members. We intend to treat all of our members without discrimination due to race, color, age, sex, religion / creed, species, sexual orientation, marital status, political standing or disability. In keeping with these guidelines, we expect you as individuals, to stay true to these beliefs.
