With all the stuff I have going on in a pc an automatic driver updater just gives me goosebumps (the good kind). Problem is I've tried many, including Nvidia's which almost made it with the least amount of false drivers that needed to be updated. It would have passed but it insisted my motherboard drivers weren't installed, and that is simply 'bogus'.Other software say's some driver needs updating, I go to the manufacturers site to double check the validity of the claim only to find out I have the latest drivers installed for my OS and system. I figured at least Treexy could get it 100% with no bias or error, and that just doesn't happen either.And each one claims a different driver needs updating contradicting the other software's.The only drivers they usually get right 100% the time are video drivers, NVIDIA & AMD, and Realtek drivers: audio & ethernetBut one thing's certain, if it ain't broke don't fix it, Unless the driver positively improves performance, compatibility, or fixes a broken one? freeforever03 Posted December 20, 2014 Share Posted December 20, 2014 I agree with Chancer and kickmekeit. But I thought I would give this software a try anyway (just for fun). After installing and registering it, I ran the driver search engine. It found 3 drivers that were out of date. I then updated the drivers and tested them to make sure their were no problems. So far all is well. I like this program better than Advanced Driver Updater (I also tried that as well but uninstalled it). I will let everyone know if Driver Booster Pro continues to do a good job. Jobe Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share Posted December 21, 2014 Yes I agree with most of what you guys are saying,I like some of you, have tried lots of different driver software over the years and must say that of them all this seems to be the best one.I just leave it on auto and in the last 8 months it has only updated two drivers,video and audio so it is not overdoing things like some of them and trying to replace lots of different ones.
