Is there something I need to do in the BIOS settings, I mean just turn my PC of, remove old SSD and replace it with my new Samsung SSD and I'm done?

as long as AHCI is already enabled in BIOS, then you don't have to do any changes

If your ssd is from Samsung 840 EVO series then you absolutely need to install the latest firmware.

then just remove the old ssd and install the new.

then install the OS you want (win7/8/8.1, linux etc.)

Why don't you add it as a second and do a migration, no need to reinstall then.
