I just checked wit my friends and other online buddies for their old and current promo keys mail duration.

Note:

I'd like to inform how the activation period works for promo keys:

If today[09/12/2014] you received the promo key mail, then

1. After 2 days, on 11/12/2014, you'll receive the first reminder mail[use it/lose it.. activate now]
2. After 2 days from the first reminder mail, on 13/12/2014 you'll get the final reminder[final hours to activate... less than 24 hrs remaining to activate].

So, in total 5-7 days to activate/use the key in mybitdefender ac.

Nsaners, don't go with the blogs/articles telling 30 days to activate. Please activate the Promo Keys ASAP.

My friend I would not put these keys and compare them with others,as far as I am aware this is the first time this split licence has happened where they give 6 months and then 12 months in Feb,the other licences will not do this and so will be treated differently all I can say to you is go and look at the original (source) page (below) and use a translator and see what it says.If you have a problem or are not sure you can contact Bitdefender themselves and ask,the keys are genuine and they will inform you of the rules etc regarding this particular giveaway.Hope this helps,regards Jobe.

Okay, then why are we getting a reminder to activate now or lose it for this promo as well[just after 2 days of getting the key]? Don't just show the source link as proof. It is not a message from BD. I'm sure that the keys will be blacklisted in 5-7 days total. If you want proof, then experience it. I'm not going to push anyone. If anyone want to lose the key, then go with Jobe and Comss.info. Others who have faith in my words, activate ASAP or within few hrs after final reminder mail.

Proof: U might've known the betanews ts giveaway. In malware tips, it is mentioned 30 days to activate the license. However, my license key got expired in 5th day from the date I got the key.

Those who got the keys for betanews BD promo can now know it is not 30 days.

Listen my friend I do not want to confuse anyone,please do not spam my post anymore,points below.

Everyone is free to do as they wish concerning their own keys,if yours has run out then I am sorry,may I suggest you use my link ,not Malware tips or Betanews links and obtain a new one.

I cannot see the point you are trying to make,the offer is still current and even if the key/keys have a problem simply get another one.

I have contacted Bitdefender directly as I informed you that you could do to ask them directly and am awaiting a reply.

1- I do not obtain keys from other sites and then come on here complaining.

2-Anymore spamming this post and you will be reported.

3-As I politely told you,Bitdefender can be contacted directly with any queries you may have.

Yeh,I got a few,dont use it myself slows me down but might give it a go in the new year,Enjoy..

I must Agree with you on this... From my Personal experience, having used Bitdefender, Kaspersky and a Few others, i can definitely say that Bitdefender is Heavy on the Computer and Slows it down. It even Slowed down the Boot up time of the Computer too..

Comparing Bitdefender with Kaspersky, i will say without a Doubt that Kaspersky is more lighter on the System and does not slow down Boot up... This is my personal Opinion from my Personal Experiences of using them and others... Cheers and Lovely Weekend to All ....

I Actually Used both 2014 and then 2015 Version, but Sadly, it was the Same Experience for me.. It as Rather Heavy and Slowed down the System.. Cheers..

I installed the latest version last night and activated it ok,it seems a lot better/faster than last time,will stick with it and give it maybe a week.Last time I tried it,it bought me to nearly a standstill within 6 hours so its done better this time.If I get problems will return to Webroot.

Good then, I hope you will Inform/Explain to us how it Feels and works on your Computer after a Week. Then we will know if it is an Improvement over the last 2015 version 18 that i tried Two months ago.. Cheer and Have a Lovely Day ...

U used the 2014/2105 Version???

It is the Smoothest of all the Antivirus Products. It does not slow down your machine. You have to leave it on your machine for at least a day as it is doing stuff in background. I have used all the other Antivirus programs and this is one of The VERY BEST. Nothing ELSE is NEEDED.

Bitdefender 2015 is the mst awsome AV on planet earth...me tested all the big players.....My choice...BITDI!!! :WIN:
