narutoverse13
There are a bunch of things that could cause it (e.g., deleting the wrong registry key, a rootkit, malware, etc.). I would recommed going into safe mode, runner a scan with MalwareBytes & Hitman Pro, and then running a computer cleaning software from Tweaking.com. When you go on Tweaking.com, click on the "Programs" text that is located on the top left corner of the site just under the logo. After that, you should see a list of different programs. Click on the first program called "Windows Repair (All in One)". Download the installer & run the program. The program should guide you through what to do :). Good luck! AlexCross
L i n u x I prefer to do things by myself and not wait for a developer to to do it for me. So, it seems that this ideal doesn''t apply to everyone.People like to think that they are experts in using software, but if you take the simplicity from it, those people will be left beside. dcs18
Well, jokes apart (just can't stop laughing - sorry for that) - it is most probably a case of infection. If all respectable suggestions above (except the hilarious Linux one - goodness, my funny bone) fail for you - you might want to test your RAM. november_ra1n
My computer often encounter this error. How to repair problems. ThanksTry those option: Method 1:Step 1:Run Memory Diagnostic Tool.Follow the steps to run Memory Diagnostic tool:a.Press Windows key + W on the keyboard and type "memory" without quotes.b. Click on "Diagnose your computer's memory problems".c. Select the recommended option to run the tool.Step 2: Try increasing the Virtual Memory and check the issue.a. Press Windows key + X, choose Control Panel.b. Click on System And Security and click System.c. Click on the Advanced System Settings in the panel right side.d. Click the Advanced tab in the System Properties box.e. Click Settings in the Performance section.f. Click the Advanced tab in the dialog box.g. Click the Change button. Now, in the Virtual Memory dialog box you can change the pagine file settings.h. Clear the Automatically Manage Paging File and selecting the Custom Size option to tell Windows to keep the paging file at a constant size; the access to files is quickier so Windows no longer has to resize the paging file according to the amount of data temporarly stored in there. In both the Initial Size and Maximum Size enter the recommended size for virtual memory as suggested by Windows (which is usually above 5GB). i. Finally click on Set and then OK three times to close the boxes. Method 2: If that does not help, run System File Checker(SFC) scan to check if there is any system corrupted files.Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system filesOpen cmd with elevated privileges, (run as admin), and enter:sfc /scannowIf any file can not fix then:Admin cmdDism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealthDism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealthDism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthRun sfc /scannow again
AlexCross
Switch to Linux.lets try to help him, OK? what have he done to U??? LINUX ;)Ok, here is the real problem he has, that it's quite funny for me aswell, becaue microsoft didn't find a solution for it, yet.The problem occurs when he choses to shut down or restart, or when he uses quick acces buttons to shut down/restart, because the application tries to acces the memory after it was cleared by the shut down process. It's a quite old and common problem (since W8.1 has launched). The computing power has an influence on it, aswell.
AlexCross
Another solution may be to change the settings and disable the fast boot.

AlexCross
Another workaround may be to make a batch file with shutdown /p as command, or just type it in cmd. For more options:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb491003.aspx
