anuseems
AMD said it misspokeFrom Fudzilla:AMD Chief Gaming Scientist Richard Huddy speaking at the PDXLAN event apparently misspoke when he said that Windows 7 will not support DirectX 12. There had been reports based on a video of Richard Huddy of AMD making speculative comments around DirectX 12 support on versions of Windows. Basicially he said that Windows 7 would not be able to run DirectX 12.However AMD said in a statement. "Richard Huddy does not speak for Microsoft, and he was unfortunately speculating from Microsofts publication of key dates and milestones for Windows 7 lifecycle and mainstream support policy.http://www.fudzilla.com/home/item/36329-windows-7-will-support-directx-

PTmax
I'm afraid that saying "Richard Huddy ... was unfortunately speculating" does not confirm the opposite. There is no clue that Win7 will support DX12 and everybody who knows MS for at least a decade, knows that they will use DX12 to force gamers to upgrade to win10.I'm still on Win7 but I have no hope of DX12 supporting this OS version.
