steven36
Like I said before 2014 has been the worse year in history for browsers . FireFox don't even use that much ram tell you add and ad blocker addon More Infohttps://blog.mozilla.org/nnethercote/2014/05/14/adblock-pluss-effect-on-firefoxs-memory-usage/When I add ABE or ABP then it ends up using more ram than any other App on my system .There are low ram apps like ad muncher and AdFender but none them seem to work to block all ads . So ether you look at ads or have it using high ram . :lol:Goggle Chrome has much lower ram and Ad Blockers with a low footprint but its really lacking in the add-on department and I think its ugly . 1st thing I do when I install FireFox is install Classic Theme Restorer to make it not look like Goggle Chrome . :)Someone really needs to make a low footprint add-on that can block all ads for Firefox . No wonder Goggle Chrome is the #1 browser.. lower ram and native x64 support . But it has its faults too .

steven36
Low ram Firefox ad blocker? It's called Bluhell Firewall.Bluhell Firewall don't work for https sites nether does Ad Muncher what I done was done was like 3 tweaks to Firefox that reduce ram and I deleted all the list out of ABE and only use it for making my own rules plus i use it for Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon and Element Hiding Helper to make even more custom rules . I'm using Ad Muncher for HTTP sites and using AD Guard addon only for HTTPS sites . Its all those not needed rules in Easy list that make it use so much ram . After I done all this now Firefox runs light as a feather .
