WELL GUYS I NEED REGRADING BUYING AN MFD (print , scan, copy)

i dont know if sererate printer and scanner would cost less

i need it for home use only no biggie

ANY BRAND WOULD DOO

i have my eye on this one

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 All-in-One Wireless Printer

flipkart link above and amazon price 5,883.00 (less than flipkart but i am not sure about seller an advice would help)

PLUS IS WIRELESS (i dont need it ) but good for suture use and extra fethure

ANOTHER THING i hear is thsi product

HP Deskjet 1510 Multifunction Inkjet Printer(Low Cartridge Cost)

is low cost but cartridge cost kills you soo no go i think

the cartridge supported is HP 678 (best cartige around the price and print capacity i hear around 200)

SO IS THIS CHOICE GOOD BUDGET IS SAME AS THE ABOVE PRICE MENTIONED ON SITE (7000)

Please help guy si looking foreward @ maxxy @ rudrax @ all nsaners

The only one that I can recommend to you - do not ever buy something like this, where there are a number of things together!

Why not? Let me explain.

If something happens to one, you get rid of all at the same time. You do not have any of them anymore.

I would suggest an AIO with a monochrome laser printer, unless you NEED color printing. Depending on the make/model a single black toner cartridge will yield 1,000-10,000+ pages.

@Future Soldier… I would only go for a AIO inkjet model if you have very light / occasional print needs. Otherwise the reduced initial price is greatly outweighed by the cost of consumables compared to those of a laser product.

Shame you don’t reside in my neck of the woods as I could give you a few retired older inkjet models (still perfect) that are lying around @ our stores. As now a days we opt for laser MFD’s for both business & home use.

Hey there Future Soldier, sorry for being late in reply. I didn't see your post.

I don't have a printer or any experience in buying it. According to your needs, go for HP or Canon. Both of them are very good printers. You should like the wireless fuction as it gives you the freedom to print wirelessly. Supose, you have found out a document in your smartphone and wanted to print. Then, in case you have the wireless fuction, you won't need to transfer that file to PC and print. You can directly print sending it to the printer from you phone.

Regarding the seller, just choose the default one provided by flipkart or one that's verified by flipkart. Verified seller's quality is checked by flipkart. Of course, with flipkart, you have purchase protection but won't take extra hessel for a few more buck.

laser has a bigger initial cost but as time goes by you get robbed at gun point buying ink for inkjets....sometimes to replace all the ink cartridges cost more than what you paid for the inkjet to begin with.... after market ink refilling is OK for less of a cost but seemingly never as good ink quality as OEM...... and i have had a few inkjets in the past totally clog up from buying cheap ink...so my printer right now is a brother brand that was bought at a place that sells after market ink...paid 49 dollars i think they sell them cheap to get you tome back for ink...it is a brother wireless three in one model mfc-425-jw fast printing and fairly good scanner with fax that i have never had the need to hook up....but it is wireless and is very easy to set up and even easier to align the print heads when changing ink

YA i have heard of that(e market has more stock and greter sales so its a benefit already some stores are illing cases against e sellers saying govt should regulate prces) plus i hear that they dont have much stock (wireless i doubt) but some people here tell me to buy from local ()

Well AIO (space save and wireless as wireless printer and scnner i doubt) i see alll local cafe have seperate printer and scanner other than damages/ fault causing the whole thing not work what are the other pros of buying separate I really appreciate the help

The ink will finish faster more than you will see. And I've one just stopped working. So get separate machines is better.

If you can afford a laser printer, then no way you should consider buying an inkjet. The initial cost of a multifunction (print, scan, copy) laser is around double that of a inkjet but -

>Laser uses toner instead of ink cartridge which is less expensive than ink and also provides better quality color reproduction.

>Laser is way faster than inkjet. Suitable for mass production.

>Less problems than inkjet.

The only problem with laser is that they are bulky, heavy and needs more space and initial cost. Other than that, no way you would consider an inkjet over a laser.

only thing is laser cost more i see (but dont know about long running cost in accessories) well i had plans to refill through local shops i know about the OEM ISSUE i was planning to buy new cartridge after 3-4 refills

clogging problem i hear its a very painful thing so does laser doessnt clog

Your wireless printer is awesome it loooks like as local refill shop at low price and wireless a real steal maybe but is it injet or laser can you clarify

hmm i would mainly do black but a color (i would hardly buy a color cartridge) would definitely be useful in long term

@ future soldier.....sorry...i thought i said it was a brother inkjet.... i did put in the model number however this is at least 18 months ago when i purchased it and most likely it was not a "newer" model whe i bought it.... hence the really really cheap price

all in ones do not use more ink than stand alone inkjet...however...they cost extremely more to run them ink wise than laser printers... google cost per page inkjet to laser...this is because even when yo buy cheap ink it is so much more expensive than laser....ink jets cost far less to purchase than laser does but yearly cost to keep them printing means you are far off better to initially purchase a laser as your cost per page in the long run is far cheaper..... most likely the laser cartridge will last longer than 5 or 6 ink jet cartridge...and some inkjet cartridges run up to 20 dollars or more for one

AND ARE LASERS IN WIRELESS AND AIO OR MFD (dont say very less i dont something that cat be fixed)
