Beamslider
If you have a google account on the phone. You can use the PC to go to google store and select apps to install. They will be installed on the phone after you select them. If the phone is connected by wireless they will install over wireless and not use phone data for install. You can set the phone to only update or install apps on wireless too. Dodel
You should just be able to drag and drop to the sd card / handset via windows, also ensure that you've rooted.

Yorel
I always use AirDroid. From my PC connects to my Nexus via Wi-Fi and there is an option to install directly any apk I've got on my PC. Simple and easy.

rajuramesh620
To install an APK on your mobile, you can either:Use ADB from the Android SDK, and do the following command: adb install filename.apk. Note, you'll need to enable USB debugging for this to work.Transfer the file to your device, then open it with a file manager, such as Linda File Manager.Note, that you'll have to enable installing packages from Unknown Sources in your Applications settings. As for getting USB to work, I suggest consulting the Android StackExchange for advice. smallhagrid
MyPhoneExplorer is perfect for this and other things, I use it the most:http://www.fjsoft.at/Others which are not well known are QTADB and Droid Commander.Rooting your device is a great place to start. For file actions which are stubborn it is good to learn this:adb shellsumount -o remount rw /systemBest Wishes for your learning !!
