fredlaso
MS office for freeWould you like MS Office for free?Well you can . Ok it is the online version , but you can have it installed with items on your desktop. As long as you bear in mind and do not mind the security aspect that all MS stuff and Google stuff can track what you do and record what you do.1) Install Google Chrome browser , if you don't have it alreadyhttps://www.google.com/chrome/browser/index.html2) Using Chrome, downloadhttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/launcherto get the Chrome App Launcher (you need this to get the icons on your desktop).3) In chrome go to each link below , download and install the apps belowWord: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...einbehmajgExcel: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...bijlfjfgnbPowerpoint: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...jgkgcbpnhpOnenote: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...amhfllbkmoOutlook: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...lnikfnhoge4) If you want the applications to open in separate windows like normal Office would, open your chrome app launcher ( from Progams menu , then Chrome then chrome app launcher ) then right click on the Chrome icon for each prog and select "open as window".5) From the start- programs - chrome - chrome app launcher, you are supposed to be able to right click and pin a short cut to your task bar, but it did not work for me in XP , but I am quite happy using the progams menu.6) Enjoy or stay way if you like you privacy... neverthelesshello
Thanks for the post, a lot of people will prefer to use a cracked version of Office or use Office starter but it's always nice to have more options pointed out. :)When I tried the online word it seems a bit slugish.
