ROMANTICGUY50
I have Avast premium, and Malwarebytes on my computer. On both programs I list nsamedown as an exclusion so that I can get onto the site. I still get the error unless I turn off one or both or the programs which I should not have to do.. This is really crazy. I should not have to shut down my protection programs to get on nsanedown. The error I get is the Firefox error but it happens with every browser I use. j9ksf
I have the same problem but find that if I disable Avast's shield the frontpage will load. This is despite instructing Avast to ignore www.nsanedown.comPerhaps I should consider a different antivirus.
j9ksf
Update: Did the same again but frontpage wouldn't load again. Oh well. Seems to work sporadically.
Roy W
@j9ksfHave had the same problem since October 26 and was told by some members that nsanedown server is/was "reset"This has only been happening recently and cannot believe that this "reset" happens on a daily basis, two to three times a day.Have no Firewall or proxy or network connection problems so what is causing this frontpage not to load?PS This has nothing to do with my Avast Antivirus. davmil
Starting about a month ago I've had sporadic problems accessing the forums - 500 error or other page down type errors. They usually go away after an hour or so. Others had reliability issues recently?
scandal1981
nsanedown.com doesnt exist or is down, no antivirus here, you need to change it to nsaneforums.com/* or something like thatsee if they let you use wildcards

davmil
I think it's Nsanedown/forum's domains and/or infrastructure, not FFox, MWarebytes or Avast b/cuz I don't have any trouble 98% of the time and, when it does fail, the problem goes away on its own after 1/2-1 hour with no (re)configuration. I never made any exceptions in any s/w packages for nsanedown forums and they work normally most of the time. I get 500-Internal Server Error. Last happened @ 11:10 10/30/14. It opened 3 windows, then failed. Reloaded page - fail. Quit FF and re-entered - fail. Tried Chrome & IE - fail. Rebooted and retried failed. Gave up and came back 20 mins later & all's well @ 11:29 10/30/14. During the times nsanedown is in trouble, my ISP (UVerse) is up and I'm able to use 'net normally.Agree with Roy W - someone's or something's resetting something on the server side, or it's overloaded or some sorta infrastructure problem. It's not about the client side.

j9ksf
The best solution for me was here://www.nsaneforums.com/topic/233050-avasts-https-scanning-interferes-with-firefox-and-other-programs/However, it did not work after a reboot. In ie11 I disable shields control for the minimum time. This has worked okay for the time being.
