ilcorsaro73 Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Hello to everyone...When I open a file with Excel 2013, (double click on it) I get the error message "Error sending for the command to the program" did not appear instead when I open the program excel 2013 and than the file http://pho.to/7Z8QfI've already tried unsuccessfully to :1) Uninstall and reinstall excel 20132) reset office 2013, from " Programs and Features"3) use the automatic microsoft solution http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2114944) use the manual microsoft solution http://support.microsoft.com/kb/211494 Click the File tab, and then click Options.Click Advanced, scroll down to the General section, and then clear the Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) check box in the General area.Click OK.5) I've tried to re-associate Office program as default application to open the filetype with Right-click on the Office file and select "Open with" option6) Disable security suite programOs windows 8.1 update 1 x64 with media center editionOffice 2013 professional x64 with updatessecurity suite: Outpost security suite 9.1but the problem persists what else can I do to fix it? Ballistic Gelatin Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 You have to be careful with some of these tune-up utilities. Running them can temporarily break stuff. At best, you'll need to just reboot to fix an issue. At worst, you'll waste hours trying figure out what all the errors mean in Windows Event Viewer. If you go crazy enough, you end up reformatting.
