2 - delete the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution

3 - open services.msc and start Windows Update service.

4 - go to Control Panel and check for updates.

If I delete it, will I lost all update files on my windows 7?

if you are asking about the updates that are already installed ? no, nothing will be uninstalled, it will just delete the Windows Update cache and will rebuild it again during the step 4.

This is what I did on Windows 8.1:

-Went to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\

-Renamed the file DataStore.edb and the folder Logs so that I was able to delete them.

-Rebooted my system.

-Went to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update and Checked for updates.
