FWIW, the latest HDD ship with a 5 year warranty.Personally, have been sticking to WD simply because they have a far efficient replacement implementation, in place - I remember, returning a 250 GB HDD and having received a brand new one of 500 GB, in return (few of my Customers have also enjoyed this same experience with WD.)EOD though, it boils down to personal preferences - all the best.
