Just my 2 paise - on a apple-to-apple comparison basis, I find Seagate as much susceptible as WD (if not more.) FWIW, the latest HDD ship with a 5 year warranty.

Personally, have been sticking to WD simply because they have a far efficient replacement implementation, in place - I remember, returning a 250 GB HDD and having received a brand new one of 500 GB, in return (few of my Customers have also enjoyed this same experience with WD.)

EOD though, it boils down to personal preferences - all the best. F3h9xqz.gif

by the way am happy snapdeal took back the piece from me n they promised for REFUND

now tel which is the best one tp buy...apart from seagate

wen u al give al those suggestions for me y wudnt i try??yes i tried al of them EXCEPT FLASHING FIRMWARE ..but ALL FAILED...

For Internal HDD drives I always use WD, no problems - for Ext HDD, I use Samsung M3 USB3 - I have 2 of them,(2x 1TB Samsung M3) great and fast
