locoJoe
Is this listing broken or outdated? If so let us know! > instructions wrong > see below.I am a big fan of AX64 v1.x. but I used Acronis in the past and liked it very much. I was thinking about trying the new 2015 version as a 2nd backup choice. I d/l the crack for 2015. In the crack archive there is a file called Readme2015.txt. In that txt file it says this>1) download True Image 2015:http://download.acronis.com/ATIH2014_trial_en-US.exeClearly that is not the correct installation file for 2015. (I did however see the d/l link for 2015 in the listing and d/led it.) My point is this> If the first part of the instructions are wrong (which they are) then can I trust the remainder of the instructions? I do not want to have a botched 2015 installation on my system. Thanx to anyone who can/will confirm 2015 crack working properly. Also I heard 2015 was still pretty buggy and that 2014 is a better choice. Any constructive comments would be appreciated. tacneplong
Look like someone forget to edit it because it's old instructions from version 2014. But don't worry, this crack is working fine. You just need to get 2015 download link herehttp://dl2.acronis.com/s/AcronisTrueImage2015_5539_en-US.exe

Smoore
Acronis 2015 is very nice and has features to schedule backups when you want and to do so when the system is idle. Some items from 2014 are in different places or are short cuts in the start menu, but it is still TrueImage.I use Firefox and hated Australis. I changed it back to glass/aero on win8, now I can't stand it.I hate android changing from holo blue to holo white, now I can't stand blue.Android L is Metro-ish.These are all just the surface interface and the core functionality is still there with some features added and removed.I purchased/support ax64 and it's potential to be great and I use Acronis 2015
Pete 12
Yes,its one of the best backuppers, using it for a loooong time now, never let me down when I needed it !! Except one BIG MISTAKE; they pulled out the Try&Decide-modus in version 2015 !!! I am very, very sad and dissapointed about this ,coz I use this T&D very much for testing etc. As a result I have to stay with 2014-version ( which is very good!) with T&D and making good and reliable back-ups !! Untill they finally come back from this BIG FAILURE with a new COMPLETE update.
locoJoe
I used to use Acronis with my old desktop. Acronis never failed me either. I personnally never used the T&D feature tho. Anyways what happened is that I purchased a new laptop (the machine I am using now). The new lappy came with UEFI/GPT-Based Hard Drives/Partitions and the version of Acronis I was using at the time did not support this configuration. Thats when I found AX64. Not too long after finding AX64 I did some stupid :shit: and fcuked up my lappy. AX64 pulled my ass out of that jam and so I have been using it (v1.xx) ever since. I do admit that having a 2nd backup from a seperate/different program would be a nice failsafe in case AX64 fails to perform in the event of any future fcuk ups on my part. Thats why I am here now. For me the fact that v2015 not having T&D is OK. I will probably go ahead and install Acronis 2015 then.

Guest Piet
Why not install 2014-version ,untill they come back with a COMPLETE ( with T&D!) Acronis again !! I am 100% sure the 2015-version is not better then the 2014-version, and its very good to have T&D when you need it! btw; does AX64 have problems with Acronis together, I mean;can you use them both on 1 PC ??? AX64-problem is ;you can not start up again in ( lets say) try-modus, thats a big difference with the T&D of Acronis!! Sometimes you have to make a restart, when testing software etc,you can still restart in try-modus with Acronis. I guess this is (yet) impossible with AX64! Pete 12
Can you use them both (AX64 and Acronis with T&D) together on 1 PC ? You can make a restart in T&D, but is this also possible with AX64 ? If so ,you can use Acronis for backing-up and AX64 for testing, trying software etc.

But TRY & DECIDE was absolutely UNIQUE !!It was much better for software testing purposes than Shadow Defender (testing could be continued AFTER REBOOT) .The only prog. that do the same or even more than T&D is DiskShot, but available only for Koreans !Is there anybody here who knows what are Acronis's plans concerning T&D ?Maybe they're going to relise it as separate prog ? Just can't believe T&D would be abandoned !
locoJoe
Here is what Acronis support says about removing T&D from v2015.Below is a list of all features removed from v2015. If you view Acronis' v2015 FAQ it will go more in depth for each feature that was removed.
Smoore
ax64 v2 has hourly differential backup only and no scheduling options. This impacts my quad core every hour noticeably during gaming and watching 1080p mp4 videos. Why give no option to schedule daily, weekly and when the system is idle? Reminds me of Rollback, god that thing was a resource hog! ax64 works great on Win 8.1 x64 for a manual backup, Acronis has more flexibility and choice. Pete 12
Ok, I am looking for a replacement-software for Acronis T&D. If I can find something reiable for T&D, going to Acronis 2015 by using the Boot-CD ( only for backing-up,so not installing the bloated program anymore, why should you,no T&D ! Boot-CD is all you need.) T&D is really very good, it has the option to reboot in Try-modus.This is something I can not find in other software. So I need some help for finding a good option in stead of T&D !! Any ideas ?????
